1. Find the purpose

I think, the first step you need to do to make a mysterious title for your presentation is to find out why you make it--find out the reason why you enthusiastically made this presentation. Believe it or not, the reason why you enthusiastically made your presentation could also be the reason why people will enthusiastically like to watch you present it.

But, remember that the “purpose” here does not mean something that forces you. It is more like something that persuade you to make the presentation. It can be something like “other wants to know this...” or something.

2. Find things which attract you most

If you have made your presentation. You can re-watch the slides again and again, while visualizing yourself speaking in the front of large audience. Do this again and again, and you may find something that attracted you--something that at some points, makes you curious.

I am sure this will work. Why? Because when you re-watching your slides while visualizing yourself speaking, you’re using audience’s point of view. So, what you find interesting and attracting, could also be attracting and interesting for the audience.

3. Analyze your audience

To make the mysterious title far more appropriate and compelling, I recommend you to analyze your audience. People’s interest are somewhat distinguished by their ages, cultures, level of educations, etc..

Yeah, and of course you would likely pay attention to these distinguished interests, right? So please, analyze your audience. Look deeply into their ages, where they come from, do they look genius? At least, majority of them. Then, you’ll find the majority of audience’s interest. You can implement this inside your mysterious title. For example, it could be like “...so you look young again.” if you’re presenting in the front of audience full of oldies.

4. Arrange what you found into a title

Yeah, we found three aspects of a mysterious title. They are purpose, attractive things, and audience-personified attractive aspects. The next thing you should do is to combine these aspects. You can combine them freely. But, I recommend purpose-attractive things-audience aspect. And remember that you must choose attractive things and audience attractive aspects wisely, choose either one, or few.

5. Re-test it

The last thing you should do is to test your mysterious title. If you feel curious when you look at it, then it is a good one.
