Leave a Good Image of Yourself
A speaking session isn’t something to be done and then you can leave, it’s actually more than that. You can do something else really, like leaving good image of yours inside people’s mind. And in case you don’t know how, here’s how.

1. Pay attention to your appearance

Your appearance is the first thing people look at you. Even if you’re not speaking or showing your gesture yet, people already judged you from your appearance. To leave a good image in people’s mind, you’ll need to look at your appearance. It doesn’t need to look glamorously glamor, just wear what do you think great with yourself. It also adds uniqueness to you.

2. Take a look at your unconscious behaviors

Most people in this world do some unconscious behaviors. It can be how they walk, their standing stance, their expressions, etc.. And what I mean with “unconscious” here doesn’t mean that you can’t change this behavior at all. Some people in this world have already changed and remade their unconscious behaviors. Well, it isn’t that hard. Just take a look at how you walk, your standing stance, etc. and then, if you don’t feel it right, you can change it the way you want. You can then put a rule inside your note like “I must walk a little bit faster”, then, follow this rule. With right method and consistent application, you’ll be able to change your unconscious behaviors.

3. Add some meaningfully unique things of yours

Everyone has his/her own uniqueness. It’s just about how meaningful this uniqueness is. And I’m sure you have some unique things of yours that considered to be meaningful. Use these uniqueness and add it in your speaking session. Meaningful here doesn’t always mean fantastic or best uniqueness anyone could have. Meaningful uniqueness here just mean something unique inside yourself that could be useful, remarkable, or deep-heartening to others.

4. Make sure that you’re providing useful info

This is a must for a public speaker. Never tell something people already knew. People really don’t want to listen to any bullshit, and some people who may unfortunately listened to something bullshit will never listen to the one who spoke this bullshit. Useful info here doesn’t mean some data or anything new. It can comes from your common sense. Something comes from your common sense is useful because it reminds people to use their common sense.

5. Do good consistently

To leave an “image” (whether it’s good or it’s not), you must do something remarkable consistently so people won’t consider your uniqueness and goodness as an accident that will never happens again. If you have done take care of the other 4 things above, you’ll do good. And what you must do is to keep up the good work consistently.

Always take care of these 5 points when you’re on the way to a speaking session. Keep paying attention to yourself and what you’ll give to people. You’re great, I know it.
