1. Tell and Explain Your Own Definition Clearly

In common world, you tell people about someone’s definition first, then you tell your own definition. Now, this process is reversed. You can tell your own-made definition first. And because this is your definition, please make sure that this is the best definition compared to others you’ll talk about later. And remember that you must explain your own definition clearly.

2. Tell Few of Others’ Definitions and Explain Them Shortly

You can quote some definitions from the internet. Make sure to mention whose definition it is.

Then you can explain these definitions with your own opinion. But please make it short and concise, because explaining others’ definitions with your own mind can lead to wrong understanding of the definition itself.

3. Ask People To Conclude Their Own Definition

After talking and explaining things, now you can ask the audience about their own concluded definition. This will increases your knowledge about the topic, because some audience may add their own opinion inside their concluded definitions. This also tells you about audience’s level of understanding. You can ask some of the audience with a reward for the best concluded definition. It’s okay, that’s worth the knowledge you’ll get.

4. Ask People Who Don’t Understand

When you have automatically know your audience’s understanding of the definition when you’re asking about their own concluded definitions, some others may not understand the definition yet. Well, you may try various methods, but I think the best method is to just ask them do they understand or not. That’s better, and less time-wasting.

Well, that’s 4 steps to tell people about definitions well. Thanks for reading!
