make a great argument and tell it
Interesting, actually, very interesting presentation, comes with greatly controversial argument that shocks people. Yeah, maybe you are curious about how this kind of argument made and told. And here’s how.

1. Stumble around your topic

First, you must decide your topic--which you have already decided if you have made your presentation. Then, you could wander around social medias, blogs, etc. about your topic--mostly to increase your knowledge about the topic.

If you’re on your lucky day, you may find unique content--the one which is contradictory with our common sense and people’s view. You may find an article that told you to not to open your email inbox in the first 3 hours of your day, for example.

Remember that you gonna make a great argument here, which is not going to be great if you don’t support it with great quantities and qualities of valid data. So please, never plainly make an argument with just your own common sense--it would be easily criticized by people.

2. Look for valid data

Fortunately, you may find valid data that mixed into one inside the article that contains the argument. But, if you are not, you MUST find supportive valid data. You can do this either via Google or just using the old way--wandering around the library.

Just a tip, even if you have already found supportive data mixed into one with the argument, I recommend you to still look for another valid data. Greater quantities, better.

3. Make your argument

Then, you can make your argument, with your own words. Put every of your idea in a note. Just write. You can write another and another, then you can choose the best.

Remember that in this step, you just gonna make the argument, regardless of it’s quality. Your argument will be furnished and repaired later. And, just a tip, make a short one.

4. Furnish your argument, remove ambiguous words

Ambiguous words are one of the biggest lack in language. For example, we could use the word “steal” into criminal world; but, we could also use it in love terms.

Ambiguous words even become more important for an argument. People can mistakenly understand your argument. Yeah, I know you can explain your own argument to the people so they can get better understanding. But, how if some people quoted your argument, and they can’t explain it in the right way? So please, remove or replace ambiguous words. And if you can’t, you can make your argument a little bit longer to achieve specific meaning by using more word.

5. Before the show, make sure you don’t look like a weak person

Most people decline your argument because you look weak. And of course weak person made weak argument. People would see you as a person that still unsure about your own argument. So please, wear gentle clothes (with your own style, of course), and take a deeper look into how you look.

6. Tell the argument in a nice, clear, and sure way

To tell the argument, you can just tell it plainly, and of course with some explanations so people could get better understanding of your argument. And yeah, when I say to not to look like a weak people, doesn’t mean that you must look like an angry person for the whole presentation. Just tell the argument like a man, gentle, nice, clear, and full of sureness.

7. Be open to critic

As a gentle person (at least for this presentation), you must open yourself to critics that will be wandering from anywhere, trying to decline your argument. And, if you can decline back some of these critics, decline them, and if possible, with valid data. But, if you can’t, just accept your lose; accept that your argument still has some lacks that need to be repaired. Be gentle.

Yeah, now you knew how, right?
