Using Blend Moment for Big Advantages in Presentation

What is blend moment?

Blend moment is a moment that I consider to be very artistic. This moment is good for attracting applause, to make audience laugh, etc.. What I mean with “blend” is that you combine three (or two) media elements of presentation: you, supporting audio, and supporting graphic.

A Friend of a Friend...

Few months ago, a friend of friend spoke at a hall somewhere near Manhattan. He spoke about everyday cultural life. At a point, he delayed the presentation for a few seconds, and said “what the hell is this?”, then he pointed to the projector screen that showed an image that showing three podiums, on the highest podium, means the champion, a Mexican woman stands, the other two are filled with both Englishman. The great and funny thing is the competition’s title: “Manchester English Speaking Competition - 400 People Competing”, and shit, these Europeans can’t beat this woman.

This “what the hell” point is what I call blend moment - and this one is specially made and set to make the audience laugh so hard. What about creating and practicing your own blend moment (a.k.a “what the hell” moment)? That would be a good idea, right?

Remember That...

Remember that learning never ends. You need in great shape, and you need great resources for learning - and this blog is a very good place to learn presentation skills. With at least one post per week, how the hell can’t you subscribe? (subscribe boxes is at the right sidebar, just in case).

If you have already tried your own blend moment, you can tell ‘em in the comment. I love to hear others’ experiences.
